Wireless Headset (Xbox 360)

Wireless Headset (Xbox 360)
Customer Review: Pretty good
It really is amazing how much more comfortable this is. I was chatting with a mate for half an hour and when I took the wired headset off my left ear was aching all day. Clip this on and it’s great! You don’t have to take it off to go to the kitchen or anywhere else and it’s cool letting a friend talk while you play without fumbling and having to set right beside them. You remember when you first got a wireless controller and whenever anyone walked in front you would move it to stop it snagging when you didn’t need to? It feels just like that.

Unfortunately my friend trod on mine in a huge hiking boot, but it does mean I can get the Halo 3 one!

Customer Review: Better than the normal headset!
I was wary about buying this headset seeing you get a free one with the xbox and I also had bought the camera which gives you another wired headset. But I bought it on recommendation from a friend. It’s very clear and crisp and the audio is so much better than the wired headset. I’ve toggled between using the two and the difference really is notable. And you can go quite far giving you the freedom to move about. And it’s more comfortable. The only annoying thing, as with all wireless equipment is the recharging but it the batteries do last quite a while. Definately worth buying.

Customer Review: Not as Good as it Could Be
This game shines… in the most part it is the most beautifully presented game I have ever seen. The character models and their facial expressions are truly a wonder to behold. However - the on foot combat is at best ordinary and the in vehicle combat tedious and frustrating. Many of the worlds (particularly the unpopulated ones)look practically identical. This is not KOTOR - it’s not even Jade Empire - but a poor third. Nevertheless, I’m sure we’ve all played worse games and it does pass the time.
Customer Review: WARNING: Time will fly by when you are in this game
Thank goodness this game does not play out like “Call of Duty 4″…. What a disappointment that was: a 5-hour solo campaign? Dear or dear…. Mass Effect is advertised as a Role Playing Game (look this up if you are not sure what it means), and since most games billed as RPGs are invariably FPS’s with just vague role-play element (such as skill upgrades), I felt blessed to behold Mass Effect. It’s like being in a CGI movie like “Final Fantasy - The Spirits Within”, only you are in control of the main character and the story is far more interesting. And just when you think that’s it, you realize that combat engine is inspired from “Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter” (which is much more original in game play than “Call of Duty 4″). Make sure you have a handle on the position of the sun when you play this game, as my quick little half-hour session yesterday was actually 4 hours without me even realizing. On a further note, girlfriends/boyfriends/flatmates may not mind you hogging the lounge TV with this title, as they will probably find it entertaining to watch like some new anim? movie. You’ll need them to supply you with fluids anyway.

Kameo: Elements of Power (Xbox 360)
In a nutshell:
Playing as shape-shifter Kameo, your special skill is that once you’ve vanquished an enemy you can assume their form and use their special attacks at any time. This offers an ever-increasing arsenal of wittily designed beasts with which to complete your quest, as well as expanding varieties of combo to take on the tougher bosses.

The lowdown:
Expansive action adventure with a pleasantly Zelda-esque feel about it, which features the usual set of neat little touches from developer Rare, as well as their trademark easy-to-use control interface. Despite the gradually upgradeable complexities of your various shapes’ attack and defence mechanisms this promises to be a joy to control throughout.

Most exciting moment:
Switching forms in the heat of battle makes for some hilarious and very effective combinations of various creatures’ skills. They also look fabulous in a comedy-monster sort of way.

Since you ask:
Originally slated to appear on the venerable Nintendo 64, Kameo’s development allegedly shifted first to Game Cube, then to Xbox and is finally seeing the light of day on Xbox 360. The path to gaming love never did run smooth.

The bottom line:
Amongst Xbox 360’s raft of shooting and driving launch titles, this is a breath of sweet, fresh air.

Customer Review: Wow - seeing IS believing
Well, there are so many things that I can say about this game, the levels are amazing, the graphics beautiful, the sound is epic, the imagination and creation of the elemental sprites is mindblowing; generally some amazing creatures to play and to play against. I can’t recommend this game enough, but I hope that I (in your eyes) have tried. Get this game and you WILL NOT be dissapointed, I am on the last level at the moment and total game time elapsed (so far) is 32 hours. Even the control system is designed very well (not like Kong).
Customer Review: Four and a half stars really
I am really enjoying this game. I found it a bit tricky at first as I couldn’t remember which character was assigned to which button, but once I got past the first stage and into the game proper when you start searching for bits and pieces and can start on different tasks in different areas I was fine. The graphics are delightful and ooze quality and the camera controls some of the best I have seen in a game. I like how it saves alot automatically and that it saves every time you assign a character to a button. I think it is a clever game as it makes the player think about which character they need to assign to do certain tasks as different ones have different skills and some cannot defeat some enemies. There are a variety of different things to look out for and all sorts of items will get you all sorts of things. Look for pictures, signs, chests, plants and characters to gain items as well as buying them from shops. The graphics are the usual deep rich ones Rare are known for and I think anyone of any age group will find they have a really good game if they buy this one. I think this game is yet another one, though, that most gamers will leave on the shelf because it has cartoon style graphics. Sheer lunacy, that is. They miss some absolute pearls of games, like this one.
