Customer Review: Great quality picture - Check your TV first!
Got this little beauty for Christmas 2007 and set it up easily within about 5 minutes. The HD-DVD player comes with a CD to update the software on your xbox, this takes about 30 seconds and only requires you to put the CD in. It also comes with the xbox dvd remote which is excellent as my girlfriend doesnt like using the xbox controller to watch dvds. The HD-DVD player connects to the xbox via usb but cleverly it acts as a usb hub as it has 2 usb ports on the back, so you dont have to worry about not being able to connect your xbox camera. I first set this up on my Dads 40in Sony HDTV and was amazed at the picture and sound quality of my new Harry Potter 5 HD-DVD. However, when I set it up on my 32in Sharp Aquos HDTV I thought the picture, although still impressive, was not as good as the Sony. I put this down to the fact that the Sharp Aquos does NOT have any ‘component in’, just ‘VGA in’ and an adaptor that lets me plug in component cables. This is the only down side for me in an otherwise excellent product. Here is a check list I think might be helpful before you buy this: 1. xbox 360 2. High definition TV with component in. 3. A spare power socket as HD-DVD player requires separate power supply. If you have the above then the xbox HD-DVD player is a must and a much cheaper option than any other player on the market. Hope this helps! P.S Ignore reviews saying that it is too noisy and you cant hear dialogue…yes it has a fan…yes you can hear it…but it in no way inhibits your viewing pleasure.
Customer Review: Totally Awesome!
This is a great machine. The design is cool, and it looks like a small version of the white xbox 360. This is also fairly light, and quite, you basically plug it into your xbox 360 and you are ready to go, but you do need an HD TV (obviously), and i have only got transformers so far. I was amazed with the picture quality & sound difference compared to a standard dvd. My recomendation - BUY IT!!!! Amazon are the cheapest on the internet, and i received mine 2 days after i ordered it - That is excellent service.

Skate (Xbox 360) Customer Review: Underwhelming and Counterintuitive
Everything about this game just feels a bit wrong. I bought it yesterday and am trading it in for Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground tomorrow. The way in which you have to press a button to push for speed takes so long that by the time you get to where you want to do the trick you are not going fast enough so you have to scramble to get your thumb to the ‘flickit’ control and because it is so counter-intuitive and difficult to use you fall every time and if you miss on a run to an object you have to do a massive wheel to turn around, or a powerslide which makes you lose all your momentum meaning you have to build up speed again, causing the same problem. The camera angle is horrendous pointing from some point behind your knees so you can’t see where you are going. For any fans of THPS who thought about buying this instead of Proving Ground as an alternative, don’t it’s not worth the money.

1st of that “rob the brilliant” dont no what hes talking about lol. iv been waitin for a realistic skating game since for ages now as tony hawks has gone to major unrealsticness. skate is jus so realistic its unbelievable lol it almost looks real. and u can do proper sesh’s i could play it all day n not get bord. quality game 10/10
