Customer Review: Turn an old monitor into a TV
I have an old CRT that is still in fine working order but is no longer in use. I have an ancient television that is finally breaking down. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find a truly inexpensive new TV. I wanted to find a TV tuner so I could replace the old TV with the CRT. This product really fit the bill. It was simple to set up and within 10 minutes I had cable TV on the monitor. Keep in mind you’ll need speakers. Any speakers you can use on a PC should work, and they plug right into this box. I am using it with a 17 inch trinitron CRT monitor and the picture is very nice at 1024 X 768. The box supports much higher res than that. There are similar devices for a little less money that don’t support higher resolutions. I went with this one so that I could connect an LCD monitor of higher res in the future if I wanted. I did not try to connect this box with my computer because I was not looking for TV on my PC, so I can’t comment on how easy or hard that is.

Customer Review: Girls at the beach
I played the first game and I thought it was harder than that but not really. The girls look great. The water ski race is fun. The outfits are cool. Just takes patience to get enough money to buy things. You get to take pictures of them. a plus but controlling the camera is hard and you have to buy film. Mindless game I play on the treadmill.
Customer Review: A very strange but enjoyable game…
This game is weird… even though the description on the box may have you thinking that this is a game about volleyball and jet ski racing, this game appears to be some kind of distorted perspective on female social hierarchies by the (obviously male) developers. Either that, or a joke. However, there is something really compelling about it, and I’m not just talking about the hot women or the mind-boggling “bounce” physics (mind-boggling in a bad way ie it is distracting to the point it is like hypnosis gone wrong); there is a really addictive and compelling aspect to this game that I can’t quite put my finger on. Despite its flaws and the fact its essentially soft-core pornography this game is addictive. There is always something to do, always swim suits to buy, always friends to make. And its a good game just to chuck on when you’re bored and don’t want to think to hard about anything. The only thing is that the achievements take an insanely long time to get. If you’re playing this game I would recommend setting the voices to Japanese and playing along with music on your HDD. If you set the voices to English, have some balsa wood nearby or something because you are going to want to smash someone over the face with how intensely annoying it is. Also the available soundtrack to this game is like throwing yourself into a tree-shredder. I’d recommend this game to anyone who wanted something more from the Dead or Alive series. And by “more” I really mean “less” as in less clothing.

Customer Review: Great game - get it now
Some games are guaranteed to be great. At one point, I believed this about anything with the Tom Clancy logo on it, until Ubisoft bought that franchise and turned them into arcade shooters wit ridiculous graphic requirements. Call of Duty however is a pc franchise which delivers and remembers what makes this kind of game fun in the first place - brutal, immersive combat, realistic graphics, explosive sound effects and an interesting storyline. The last COD for the pc was the brilliant COD 2 in 2005. COD 2 changed the rules somewhat from its predecessor, as it had no health kits and limited saves. COD 4 follows this pattern but deviates from the previous games in one very important way - you are now a modern soldier of the US Marine Corps or British SAS instead of a World War 2 infantry grunt. Obviously, returning to the modern day gives you many more weapons options which did not exist in the 1940s, such as rpgs and AK47s. You even get, a few times, the Javelin, a great anti-tank weapon. COD 4 switches back and forth, at least early on, between the perspective of a US Marine (whose platoon is trying to find an atomic bomb) and a British SAS operative (whose team is tracking down those who financed and arranged the bomb delivery). In one important deviation, your character flashes back to the early 90s on a covert assassination mission in Chernobyl, shortly after the nuclear meltdown there. The gameplay is pretty tight, and there are few dull or slow moments. COD is all all business shooter, and you won’t waste a lot of time looking for keys or solving puzzles. The one stealth mission is engrossing and very well presented. One important contribution which the COD series has made to the shooter genre is the concept of swapping weapons. In the COD series, you can carry just two weapons at any time (not counting grenades of course), but you can swap any of these weapons for those which you find from friend or foe along the way. This makes for interesting gameplay. You might want to grab say a powerul machine gun to hose down a lot of enemies at once, or you can find a sniper rifle and pick them off from a distance. Or you can find an RPG and blast the whole lot of them. COD usually allows you a few different paths through the most difficult sections but they take time to figure out. There are a some annoying logjams. In a few tough places, enemies will respawn endlessly until you reach a certain invisible checkpoint after which they will quickly all run away or refuse to follow. In one such area, I kept sitting there picking off enemies until I was almost out of ammo, at which point I realized that I had to move. But, this feature also keeps you moving forward. You cannot camp out in the game, ever. I guess my favorite level of the game was the stealth mission in Chernobyl. You are a young SAS sniper in a ghillie suit, avoiding Russian soldiers on the way to snipe a rogue arms dealer who is sellling a stolen nuclear device. Your commander is with you to give you advice. The end of the mission is a fantastic set piece battle in an abandoned amusement park. Another great mission lets you call in airstrikes as you and your men race to the extraction zone after a failed mission later in the game. This is a game which alls shooter fans will love. I recommend it highly.
Customer Review: Best one Yet?
Maybe its just me but the World War 2 theme was getting a little worn out. Dont get me wrong, it was a very important time in history but one can only make so many games based off of it.This fourth incarnation of the franchise is a little more gritty and kept me on edge for most of the time I spent with it. Although the action is heavily scripted (though most COD’s are) the firefights you will find yourself in are amazing and the story is hollywood grade stuff. Overall a great game and very glad I purchased it.

Halo 3 Series 1 - Spartan Soldier EVA Armor (Red)
Halo follows the events of an inter-galactic war between the last surviving members of the human race and an advanced collection of alien races known as The Covenant. The first title in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved, was the flagship title for Microsoft’s Xbox video game console when it was released in 2001. The game achieved both critical acclaim and financial success, selling more than 6 million copies worldwide. The Spartans are highly trained warriors. Although individually less powerful than the Master Chief, an army of Spartans is a lethal force. Unique to HALO 3 are the alternate armor and helmet styles worn by these soldiers.

Customer Review: Spartan E.V.A.
I namely bought this because: 1. I love Halo 3, 2. I need the parts to try and make the Spartan I use in Halo 3, 3. McFarlin makes some of the best figures. It is highly detailed and articulated, but be aware the joints in the hands are the weakest point. Either way it is a very nice figure, and (in my case) looks great on display.
