These speakers are really powerful, especially good for pop and techno music. The two satellites give a reasonable clear and stable sound, and there is almost no annoying hiss on the background. The reason I put five stars for these speakers instead of four is resulted from the comparison to other products with similar or even a little higher price. I did not find other speakers have 20W subwoofer/6W x 2 satellites with SNR > 96dB for this price. The equalizer in iTunes and foobar2000 can easily decrease the bass level when I listening some light music, so I think the bass is not an issue for myself.

I purchased this receiver specifically so I could play Crysis with my 360 controller. I am not disappointed. It makes playing the game so much more comfortable. Plus, the installation process was a breeze. If you are running Vista, be sure not to use the installation CD that comes with the receiver (it’s made for XP). Just let Vista find the driver for you. It is a fun game, though the final boss is the easiest part of the game. I could not bring myself to play it a second time to get the few achievements I’d missed. Even changing the difficulty does not do more than affect how fast you kill and are killed. The surprise 3/4 of the way through was great, though the ensuing battle is on autopilot. Being able to hack the automatic defenses around town to use against the bad guys adds some interesting strategy against the infinite stream of evildoers. That was the most annoying part for me, to be sent back to a rez chamber (thankful that damage on enemies persists when you die) only to find an enemy right outside the chamber who esnds you right back in. Second most annoying is when you die while firing a weapon and you just keep on firing and wasting ammo against the chamber door when you come back to life. There is an option to turn the chambers off with a download, but I never did.

This game is great. I’ve been playing it for days on end. The ability to save, or if you get killed go back to a preset condition or start over at a preset game level makes getting killed not so hard to take. I’ve finished the game once and started all over again. It’s addictive.

I got this for my 6-year-old son, and you know how discerning kids can be at that age. He thinks it’s the coolest - the design and attention to detail are fantastic. I’m thinking the thumb is a little weak and might break off after too much activity with the rifle, but so be it. (I wonder if toys these days are made more for the 35-year-old guys who live at home and collect them, rather than kids who will play with the toys.)

All halo fans know the story, but do they know where it started? That is one thing curiously left out in the Halo games and in most of the books. This book, Contact Harvest, gives you the story of first contact with the covenant, and the beginning of a deadly war. Avery Johnson, a popular character in the Halo games, makes his first appearance in the war on Harvest, a lowly planet on the edge of UNSC controlled space. Harvest is the UNSC’s foremost supplier of food for all of its colonies, but is a distant trek away from any of the core planets. Although the UNSC does not know it, Harvest also falls close to the edge of Covenant controlled space, a terrifyingly powerful race, so far unknown to the UNSC. It all starts with a lone unarmed UNSC freighter that has trouble with its slipdrive and drops out of its travels in the middle of open space, right in the path of a covenant destroyer. Why would anyone want to read this book? First, if you are a hardcore Halo fan, this is a must read for you. Anyone who has played the Halo games and enjoyed the story like me, should know where it all began. Yet another reason to read this is, even though you may not be a Halo fan like me, it is still an excelent read as a standalone Sci-Fi story. Lastly, It is a great look into a possible future over the next 200 years for our planet. It looks deep into the technologies that may inhabit our lives in the near future. To close this up, Halo: Contact Harvest is an excelent read for anyone that is even remotly interested in Sci-Fi stories. As well, for any Halo fans out there, it is definently a good insight on the beginning of the Halo story. With my regards, i hope you have a good read. It answered a lot of questions, some I’d never even thought to ask, but were nice to know anyway. For his first novel, it’s pretty good. IMO not on the same level as Ghosts of Onyx, but a fun read for a Halo fan. If you’re not a Halo fan, this might not be the book for you… but if you’re not a Halo fan, why are you reading this?

My friends and I have been big Fuzion Frenzy fans for years. We’d get together and spend hours playing the mini games. They were fun, quick to start and play, and we got a big kick out of the cheesy announcer with his strained, cracked voice screaming out “Fuzion Frenzy!”. Yes, we’re a silly bunch. Anyway, my original Xbox died a couple of months ago; the DVD drive stopped reading. I was looking at close to $80 for a replacement (unit + shipping) so I decided to just upgrade to a Xbox 360, and of course buy the sequel to our favorite game, Fuzion Frenzy 2. I’ll say right now, this game, aside from the fact that you’re playing mini games, is nothing like the original. The game is non-play animation heavy (lots of long useless segue animations), the structure of the gameplay is different, and there’s no Fuzion Frenzy round! To my friends and I, that was the best part of the game! We’d have a blast gathering orbs (from the game field or by stealing them from each other) and avoiding each other and the play field hazards. Though I expected the mini games to be different in this release, I didn’t expect them to be quite so varied in visual and play complexity. Some are very busy visually and require use of both thumbsticks and buttons, where others are visually boring and require button use only. In some ways this parallels the original version, however the levels were never so busy as to detract attention from what you were doing as they are in Fuzion Frenzy 2. To give an idea of loss of game play in Fuzion Frenzy 2, my friends and I would usually play a 6-stage set of mini games inside a half hour. However, in Fuzion Frenzy 2 we gave up one game into the second round of mini games after 45 minutes. Yes, that much useless animation was added between mini games. What used to be a fun, mindless party game has now become a more involved, needlessly bloated game that is sure to cause you and your friends to become disinterested in playing it as the game sluggishly moves from one mini game to the next. Aside from better graphics, they really missed the point with this sequel. I definitely did not get my money’s worth with this purchase.

The “skin” stickers for Wii’s Guitar Hero III Gibson Les Paul Guitar are just the thing to make your axe (guitar) stand-out in a competition. When you order one, it is shipped in a LARGE (15 x 18 or so) reinforced envelope that is flat, and it came by USPS, so if someone isn’t home to receive it, you’ll be making a trip to the post office, but that trip is worth it because the decal is a beauty. I chose the Cherry Sunburst because I have a Les Paul with a Cherry Sunburst finish. The skin is easy to remove from its backing, and goes on easy. I put the head stock on first at the end of the fret bar, so I could get a feel for the skin. The skin is very forgiving, allowing you to remove it for replacement if it gets askewed while applying. Like most skins, you’ll get a few bubbles in it, but you can smooth those out by working them out from the center to the outside. I applied all of the skins, including the one to the control. Speaking of which, be sure to open the slits where the speaker is on the control. Those almost have to be poked-out with a round edge of a paper clip (don’t use a knife unless your hand is real steady because you may accidentally cut the opening larger than it is already). Overall, this is a great product and you can find it with several dozen designs.

Bought this to use the les paul GH3 controller for xbox 360 with Frets on Fire for pc, Worked the first time which im amazed!! Simple to use, plug in the reciever, turn on controller, press reset on controller and press the recieve button on the reciever. Just a few click and done, once you have used the controller once, the device will automatically connect the next time, which is very useful. Installaion is very easy as well, i got the files from the internet before i bought this, so i didn’t need to use the disk. Windows does all the work for you and it does the work when you connect the controllers too! Overall a very good product to buy!!!!!!

Brilliant, am using to play gears of war on my pc. Absolutely no lag. If you already own a xbox 360 controller look no further. Just a note; it is only designed to work with games for windows games.

Customer Review: If you want to get the most out of xbox live then get one
The 20gb drive has all the space you’ll need to download extra maps, game modes ect as well as loads of xbox live arcade games and videos etc. There’s no set price for the 120gb model in the uk as yet, and after using an xbox 360 for some time it’s reasonable to say that all that space will be wasted except for the most hardcore of the hardcore, or those who wish to fill it with mp3’s, which I would guess most tech freaks already have stored on their pc. So if your xbox 360 is hdless then this is the way to go. Expensive, yes, worth it, yes.

If you are looking at this and you are thinking its right for you, its not, you are being conned at this price, I’ve been wanting the new 120GB hard drive for quite a while now, and although im still waiting the wait is worth it, this is because the HDD 120GB drive, is priced at 170 dollars, and a quick check on www.xe.com confirms that 170.00 USD (united state dollars) = 85.3642 GBP (United Kingdom pounds). So for 20 quid more, you are getting 100GB. Just think about it the 120GB drive is expected in around 30 days.

this game is really fun and unique. I think it is clever and good how u get points for exacuting stylish manuvers and get even more when u combo them today. the steering is tricky but so fun when u get it perfect with the rite slide. my only criticism is its a bit short and the oversteer can get soo annoying. and the graphics excellent much better need for speed and burnout. i think u should definatly buy it if u like tricky and fun racing games

Im not sure about this game. The graphics are awesome but you oversteer at every corner and the only difference between the cars is their top speed. I think this game is good for first time players in all car games. I wouldnt reccomend it to experienced gamers. It isnt anything special.
