Customer Review: An Essential Piece of 360 Kit
If you have wireless controllers for your Xbox 360, this is a must buy. The kit comprises a charger, mains cable and one rechargeable battery pack. The charger can take two battery packs at any one time and will charge both in around four hours, or a single battery in about two hours. The battery pack lasts ages in your controller so charges shouldn’t be too frequent. There are status lights on the front indicating if the batteries are still charging or have finished. There is also a separate Play & Charge Kit for the 360, which plugs your controller into the console’s USB port to charge the battery. All well and good, but it doesn’t charge as quickly and the cable defeats the object of having a wireless pad. For these reasons, the Quick Charge Kit is a better bet. Extra battery packs cost about ?9-10 and are worth the investment. The whole set-up will pay for itself within a matter of weeks compared to the equivalent cost in AA alkaline batteries, so get one today!
Customer Review: Good but be careful!
I got this peice of kit for xmas and it works brilliantly. It charges full in about 1 hour and lasts for 25 hours of play which is ruddy good. Here comes the but, the battery pack has small metal strips to connect it to the charger and if you charge alot the metal strips where away and you cant charge anymore (like mine). Im going to try the play and charge kit as i dont have to take out the battery therefore wearing away the strips.
Saints Row (Xbox 360)
In a nutshell:
There’s no new Grand Theft Auto game scheduled until late next year, but in the meantime 360 owners have got the next best thing, as you and your fellow gang members try to take control of a whole city to turn into your personal playground.
The lowdown:
It is pretty hard to describe this game without mentioning Grand Theft Auto, since the gameplay and even mission structure is based very closely on Rockstar’s classic. Of course being on the Xbox 360 the graphics are better than they ever were before, with a huge draw distance and streets that are very much fuller of vehicles and people than the real Grand Theft Auto. In fact the only thing that’s missing is Rockstar’s trademark black humour, replaced here with constant references to pimps and ???hos??. There are though over 80 different vehicles to commandeer, all of which can be customised however you want.
Most exciting moment:
Although the city in which you battle is already bigger than Vice City the most impressive thing about the game’s graphics is the enormous amount of damage you can cause to vehicles and buildings. The game even remembers individual bullet holes on your prized car.
Since you ask:
The characters in Saint’s Row come in all shapes and sizes – not just the physically perfect mannequins of most other games. You can completely customise your own character, making them as fat, thin or buff looking as you wish.
The bottom line:
Grand Theft Auto 3.5 in all but name, that should make the wait till next October all the easier.

Customer Review: Brill
I baught this game more or less as soon as it came out, and now I am finally writing a review to praise this game. Positives: .The graphics are at a hig standerd (so they should be for the 360) .Easy to follow story line. .Fairly small are so you don’t get to confused on where to go. .Cool cars, much similar than the ones we drive today. (eg. Rattler, simillar to a TVR, or the front of a Porche:) Negatives: .Game is to short. .Not a lot to do once you have completed the game. .Missions are to simple and esy and short. .Vehicles dissapear on the road. (I gave my car hydrolics and parked on the back of a transporter. Two minutes later after going downsrairs to get a drink, my character was standing in the middle of the road when the transporter dissapeared.) Overall: I think this is a ver good game and I would recomend it to all 360 gamers.

There is 4 gangs on saints row, The Carnales(Stilwaters oldest gang). The westside rollerz(speed freaks). the vice kings(dominate group)and your group the 3rd street saints.Unlock activities, win mansions battle for neighbourhoods, loads of shops. Customer Review: Worst game I have ever played!!! (except Catwoman…)
I got this game with my 360 yesterday. I had a choice between this game and pro evo 6, as im no fan of football and dont like the games i stupidly chose Battlestation Midway.WHAT A MISTAKE!!! at first i put the disk in and selected US campain. The controls are ok but like someone else has already said u cant move and use binoculars at the same time very well without crashing. The graphics are not really up to my expectations for a 360 game either, the sea is bland and flat and the vehicles dont look anything special although the sky does look pretty realistic. Now for the worst bit the fps (frames per second) On a certain mission u use an aircraft carrier ship and u deploy planes which u can fly. I liked the plane bit the best coz its quite fun flying around but as soon as u deploy a few more planes (like about 3) the fps turns abmisally jerky. You need to drop bombs on a japenese ship but the framerate is so slow that when u hover perfectly over the ship and drop a bomb the framerate cant catch up with u and u end up missing. Also when ur flying, u cant make sudden turns coz its SOOOO slow and jerky. It totally ruined my experience of a first 360 game. DONT BUY!! ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!!! hpfully other 360 games are better and more fluid…
Customer Review: Navy In Your Hand!
Now this techniqually is the first attempt at WW2 naval combat. And they have done this in such an amazing way! Im a big fan of WW2 games, and even i was getting tired of the same old aerial, and ground combat games like, Call of Duty, and Blazing Angels, so the smart men of Eidos thought, well lets take this to the pacific ocean! At the height of the war in the pacific where the great nation of America fights the Japanese imperial armies, now i remember theres not even many ground combat games for the war in the pacific, the only one i really remember is MOH Rising Sun, and that in some cases was unsuccessful. Naval Warfare on the other hand can be, if you know what’s going on, now the japanese navy wasn’t amazing, but it was formidable, so that gives some insight into the pacific theatre of war. Ok then, enough history, now for the fun, the ships are BEAUTIFUL! i love them to bits, from the little torpedo boats, to the aircraft carriers of the amercian navy, re-live the battles you had only seen in Nval warfare films, and footage. Carriers- Without them, USA wouldn’t have done so well, though proving extremly easy targets, they have formidable flak coverage. And Also has the capacity of Fighters, Fighter Bombers, and Dive Bombers! You send these planes out in three squadrons, of 3, which are unique in there own way! Battleships-Destroyers- The brunt of the Navy, the Battleship!, powerful guns, and the speed of a turtle, these titans are amazingly powerful in the right tactical way! Remember, these also prove Large targets, but have again a powerful Flak coverage. The work hourse of the Navy, and my personal fav, the Destroyer, nimble, and powerful, this ship provides accurate, shorter ranged fire, but if stcuj in a difficult postion has the speed, and just about enough fire to get you the hell out! Submarine- Sneaky, and very powerful, set the sub to a depth and chose your victim, launch upto 4 torpedoe’s a time, but remember, theres and oxygen count, and you will surface, making you very vulnerable. The planes, useful for attacking airfields, and Naval facilities, Fighters intercept other fighters, or dive bombers, and fighter bombers. The dive bomber, launches a torpedo in the hull of a ship, and remember there’s a squad of three planes with you and they will fire along with you. You can track the torpedo into the hull of the ship. But to do this you must reduce speed, and get to an angle which would hit the ship, making you a sitting duck! And to finish off, the Fighter Bomber, useful for taking out Aifields and Nval shipyards, like the name you go into a steep dive, and at the right moment release your bomb onto the target, and yes you follow the bomb, and your other teammates will release on time with yours! Multiplayer! With great Power comes a great mulitplayer capability, and this is shown on Midway, everyone takes a position on board, like for example, one player, would take one naval shipyard on the amercian team, and another player would take the naval shipyard on next to the first, sending a total of 4 ships out a time! (The same goes for the other side!) When it all hits off your thinking of what to do, and its hard, no one is following a tactial route, so you must use your units, and find a way to out think, and out match your ememy, this may not always be the case though, overall the multiplayer is fantastic, with an array of vehicles at your disposal!
Timeshift (Xbox 360)

It’s never obvious what to make of delays in video games. Sometimes it’s simply an indication of a problem production that ends up looking out of date before it’s even released. Other times though it’s simply evidence of ruthless perfection: thankfully TimeShift seems to be the latter. At first glance it seems like any other first person shoot `em-up, with some technically impressive but artistically ordinary visuals. What makes it unique though is the gameplay, with the best use of time travel in a game since Prince of Persia.
The story of the game involves the unlikely named Aiden Krone go back in time and changing history to suit him - kind of like a more evil version of Back to the Future, Part II. However, the time travelling doesn’t end there as the special suit you’re strapped into to chase after him also allows you to stop, rewind or slow down time whenever you want. Since Krone has got his own version of the same kind of time suit many of the enemies can’t even be properly seen under normal conditions because they’re moving too fast, but there are more subtle uses for the rewind and stop powers. Slipping past guards or running through a burning building becomes child’s play, while stopping time, running up to an enemy to grab his gun and then nipping back to cover to shoot him with it is just one of the game’s unique pleasures. Even if Doctor Who wouldn’t approve.
Harrison Dent List Price: ?44.99 Amazon Price: ?37.98 Used Price: ?27.99 Customer Review: One unique gameplay aspect wrapped around a derivative FPS
If you’ve played through “The Orange Box” and “Halo 3″ and are looking for more original FPS fodder, look away now. Almost all of the solo campaign play is reminiscent of HalfLife2 with dabs of the Halo trilogy added to mix it up a little. It’s as if a committee of businessmen asked “what’s gone down well lately then?” and set about steeling other developers ideas. And given how long this game has been in production, that probably did happen at some stage. So why am I still playing it then? Because, even though this game is a loveless void of facsimile with fairly dated game-play, YOU CAN BEND SPACE-TIME. After a while, you realize that the only weapon you would really need is a big spanner, because once you’ve paused time, run around a soldier and then happy-slapped him from behind, what’s the need to have elaborate high-tech weaponry? Ok, there are those semi-scary time-bending supersoldiers to deal with from time to time, but since they are expecting to win, pinning them with explosive crossbow bolts is amazingly satisfying. I laughed once when I picked up a tossed grenade, reversed time to prevent the thing going off and then deposited between one of these supersoldiers’ legs. He actually said “huh? impossible…” before going up his own posterior. Classic. So there you have it. If you are a Valve or Bungie zealot, stay well away. If, on the other hand, you can get over the obvious influences (ahem) of this title, and especially the “circa 2004 feel”, you might just have a good giggle with this one. Oh, I should mention that there are some clever puzzle solving aspects to this game that are impossible to complete unless you utilize your time-space bending powers, so it’s not all slow motion slaughter. Frankly though, I think this game would have worked much better as a third-person shooter ala “Gears of War”. Maybe next time, eh lads?
Customer Review: Very Average
This game looked cool when i bought it being able to control time and all that but when i played it i found it was a very bland generic shooter. the story was confusing and i couldn’t really see why i was bothering to travel to a different timeline to fix whatever went wrong which isn’t really explained very well. don’t even get me started on the vehicel sections which appear to have just been thrown in at the last minute. And playing through the levels i found to be a bit of a chore. Buy Halo 3 or gears of war instead. or kane and lynch and mass effect are out soon. i’ll be trading in timeshift for one of those titles
