Customer Review: High quality connectors. Nice.
This cable is great for the PS3 for Svideo or component. High quality connectors with a grip that does not get too large to plug into tight spaces like audio/video switches. Many cables widen after the connector and make insertion into audio/video switch boxes difficult, this cable is not one of them. Very well designed. Sincerely, Ira Carmel.
Customer Review: Get These
The S-Video Is Only A Must When You Don’t Have A HDMI Capable T.V. If Your T.V Is Old Like Mine And Has A S-Video I Highly Suggest This Cable.

Customer Review: Blu Ray player and a gaming machine
The PS3 is a good console, and probably (in my opinion) the best one out there. The built in blu-ray player is an added bonus as the industry has now selected it over the HD-DVD format. The ps3‘>ps3 is also great for playing online, I connected it to my DLink wireless router in a matter of minutes. I can also view my photos from my computer on my TV (check my review Samsung 40″ LCD TV). As for games there are so many for the PS3 and it can play PS2 games too and plenty of new ones are coming out. The graphics on the PS3 are better than the xbox, especially if you buy a HDMI cable and a 1080p TV as well. The wireless controls use bluetooth technology which is better then having cables restricting your movement, you do need the cable to charge them first though. There is also the play-station network which you sign up for free, it lets you download free demos and wallpapers, or full games. I wanted to get a BluRay player and my son wanted a gaming machine, so we are both happy with the PS3.
Customer Review: Sony PlayStation 3 (60GB)
Product summary The good: Swanky design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to upscaling standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi and flash media reader; 60GB hard drive; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply; free online gaming service; plays PS2 and PS1 games; backwards compatibility is hardware based. The bad: Compelling exclusive games are still few and far between; PlayStation Home and rumble controller not available until 2008; a USB port on the back would’ve been nice; no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren’t compatible; glossy black finish is a fingerprint magnet; online gaming, media, and commerce options not nearly as developed as Xbox Live. The bottom line: The high-end Sony PlayStation 3’s larger hard drive and ability to play PS2 games makes it a worthwhile alternative to the cheaper model–so long as you’re willing to wait several months for the more promising exclusive titles to hit store shelves. If backward compatibility is your top priority, this hard-to-find model may be worth the search
