Customer Review: Great Wheel
This wheel is completely worth the money. It’s made me a much better driver in the game. I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of GT or driving games.
Customer Review: Best wheel for the money!
Excellent build quality, very solid with great force feedback(vibration). Auto calibration whenever plugged into PS3 or a racing game gets loaded or quit. GT5P worked flawlessly as well as the Dirt demo, GTHD, GT3/4. Full 900 degree turn radius is very nice. Wheel is 10 3/4″ in diameter measured. It auto centers as you accelerate out of a turn, making it feel just like a real car. Like after you turn, then let the steering wheel slide through your hands back to center. I thought you had to manually turn it back to center it but it does this automatically. Very nice indeed. Gas pedal is ok but brake pedal is firm and responsive. Sequential shifter is great but I use the paddle shifters more and only use the shifter for quick gear changes when I can’t reach the paddle buttons fast enough. Such as coming out of a turn and needing to up shift quickly. The tuning knob is great for those on the fly adjustments when in game and you WILL want to adjust certain aspects when in races. Assuming you know what your doing. Having the ability to quit to the XMB from in game is great but only works for GT5 Prologue so far. You can also move around the XMB with this as a controller. Overall, this is an excellent steering wheel for the money. Having played on a G25 as well the only real difference is the 6 speed stick shift and price. Well of course, the leather and metal accents on the G25, too. It’s a bit better in feel compared to the older driving force pro in steering, feedback and pedal pressure to me. It’s very much like the G25. Remember though, some cars have a 7th gear so it kinda kills the feel of the 6 speed only G25, so you have to shift with the button or use it as sequential to be able to access the 7th gear. No biggy if you like shifting with a stick, but still lame. Also, the tuning knob helps alot if you know how to use it right. So, if you gotta have a stick shift, get the G25. If you want to save some money(about $80-120) and don’t care about the “stick shift” too much, then the official Driving Force GT wheel is the one to get.

Playstation 3 Monster GameLink Fiber Optic Digital Audio Cable
Not every optical cable has the technology and construction required to deliver maximum PLAYSTATION 3-surround sound without digital jitter and loss of audio clarity. And that matters to serious gamers. They know seeing and hearing every detail can mean the difference between game on and game over. That’s why PS3 gamers who want the edge choose Monster GameLink Fiber Optic Digital Audio.

Customer Review: Where are my feet???
There’s a lot to like about half-life 2. I tried playing half-life, but honestly, the frustration on the PC got out-of-hand. The issue wasn’t the PC, the computer is far more powerful than need be, but the issue was with the character moving like he’s on roller skates. Yes, I mean it. When I play Oblivion or Bioshock the screen looks and the movement feels like walking or running, when you play a Half-Life game, it’s like gliding. I would be okay with the “gliding” movement, but when you have to make some careful jumps, or you can fall off an edge you can’t “feel” your feet. I know it sounds weird but the character in Half-Life is just an arm with a gun mounted to a unicycle. So my issue with both games is that it doesn’t feel like human movement, it’s too slick and fast. When you get close up on an enemy and try to center on it the slightest touch to the joy-stick sends your site right past. Now, why do I like HL2? Well, for one, the PS3 control is easier to use for this game than “WASD” config on the keyboard. When playing the PC version I feel like every key stroke just moves the character too fast and too far and there’s no way to slow him down. Also, I like the PS3 has all five games on one disk, that’s lovely, and the quick-save is a must-have. The graphics look lovely through my 42″ Bravia 3LCD via HDMI 1.3 and the 7.1 LPCM sound is fairly intense, though some extra rear ambiance would have added to the experience. A warning, if you have your PS3 plugged into a receiver that does not process LPCM, you will likely get a 2.1 mix for sound. (suggestion, the new STR DG720 Sony is $299.00, excellent 7.1 LPCM playback!) Overall the one thing I can’t get around, no feet! I got stuck between to pipes and had to go back to the last save point, when I look down, no feet? WHERE’S the REST OF ME??? Really, all this work into the game and there’s no dude holding the damn gun. When you walk along a narrow ledge or pipe, he just glides, you look down, no feet, no body, nothing. So my issue with Half-Life 1 & 2 all episodes is that the guy has no feet. It doesn’t matter if your one a pipe, the dirt or concrete he moves exactly the same, like a wheel on a flat surface. To me, in a game like this control is everything to gameplay and when I feel like the character can’t be controlled gameplay is diminished. Also, a not to game developers: Could you please let us program the controller like we can the Keyboard and Mouse? Really? Please? I want to be able to look with the right and move with the left, but all the left axis does is strafe left and right, not turn. I hate this!!! I don’t need it to strafe! I want to be able to turn and look separately and not use to sticks just to move! All and all, an okay game, but I think enough issues to say that it could have been so much better.
Customer Review: Super great title for PS3!
If you have a PS3, then you need The Orange Box. Halflife has always been a favorite of mine, and since my computer stoped running it, I was very excited to get it on my PS3. The rumors that the critics and 360 fanchildren say about the framerate being bad and it having horible load times are complete lies. The framerate runs at a constant 30FPS which is what the game is designed to run on. I’ve only noticed a few, and I mean VERY few dips in the framerate. And as far as the load times go, if you can’t wait 10-15 seconds for a game to load, then perhaps you should not be playing video games. Halflife 2 and the other 2 episodes runs better on my PS3 than they did on my old PC. Also, Portal is one of the most inovative games out there, a must try. As far as Team Fortress goes, I don’t have my PS3 online so I can’t give a review on that, but I’ve heard its really good. Hands down this is one of the best titles for the PS3 to date. If you are an old Halflife fan, or a first person sci-fi fan then this game is for you!

Customer Review: YES you can play your PS1/2s Games on the 40GB
For those reviewists that have said that they can not play their old games, well, you can !!! you need to go to `insert memory card’ etc… we have the 40GB. You can not save on the PS3 but you can play. we purchased our PS3 beginning of this month. We have never had a computer game before, no Nintentos XBOXs PSs etc…. We did not purchase the PS3 for games, but I can understand how addictive they can be. We have had our HD T.V since November and sadly I did not active the HD. A friend popped round last week, pressed a couple of buttons on the remote and AWAY HAY !!!! AMAZING !! The upscaler is truly brilliant when watching normal DVDs, but when watching blu ray……… EXPLOSIVE !!!!! For those who are contemplating on purchasing one…………. JUST BUY !! you will not be disappointed. For those reviewists who say their XBOXs are better and more reliable you must be the ones who when a child would not throw your toy boxs away. For the reviewist who gave it one star and said that when viewing it is all grainy, I suggest you activate your HD !! properly. There is so much you can do with this PS3, not just for games, but computing loading c.dS/ dvdS photo albums and more Best buy we have purchased for many years…
Customer Review: Fantastic console
We have had the ps3‘>ps3 40GB console for 6 weeks and must say it blows your mind with the sheer power , versatility & ease of use compared with it’s main competitor. Fast loading , free online use ,wi-fi, quiet in use, and of course the big winner Blu-ray disc drive all score major points in our opinion.

PlayStation 3 S-video Cable
24-carat gold-plated connectors and OFC (oxygen-free copper) coating / 10 Feet Long
Price: $24.99
Customer Review: High quality connectors. Nice.
This cable is great for the PS3 for Svideo or component. High quality connectors with a grip that does not get too large to plug into tight spaces like audio/video switches. Many cables widen after the connector and make insertion into audio/video switch boxes difficult, this cable is not one of them. Very well designed. Sincerely, Ira Carmel.
Customer Review: Get These
The S-Video Is Only A Must When You Don’t Have A HDMI Capable T.V. If Your T.V Is Old Like Mine And Has A S-Video I Highly Suggest This Cable.

Customer Review: Blu Ray player and a gaming machine
The PS3 is a good console, and probably (in my opinion) the best one out there. The built in blu-ray player is an added bonus as the industry has now selected it over the HD-DVD format. The ps3‘>ps3 is also great for playing online, I connected it to my DLink wireless router in a matter of minutes. I can also view my photos from my computer on my TV (check my review Samsung 40″ LCD TV). As for games there are so many for the PS3 and it can play PS2 games too and plenty of new ones are coming out. The graphics on the PS3 are better than the xbox, especially if you buy a HDMI cable and a 1080p TV as well. The wireless controls use bluetooth technology which is better then having cables restricting your movement, you do need the cable to charge them first though. There is also the play-station network which you sign up for free, it lets you download free demos and wallpapers, or full games. I wanted to get a BluRay player and my son wanted a gaming machine, so we are both happy with the PS3.
Customer Review: Sony PlayStation 3 (60GB)
Product summary The good: Swanky design with quiet operation; all games in high-definition; PSP-like user-friendly interface; plays high-def Blu-ray movies in addition to upscaling standard DVDs; built-in Wi-Fi and flash media reader; 60GB hard drive; online play is free; HDMI output with 1080p support; no external power supply; free online gaming service; plays PS2 and PS1 games; backwards compatibility is hardware based. The bad: Compelling exclusive games are still few and far between; PlayStation Home and rumble controller not available until 2008; a USB port on the back would’ve been nice; no infrared port means non-Bluetooth universal remotes aren’t compatible; glossy black finish is a fingerprint magnet; online gaming, media, and commerce options not nearly as developed as Xbox Live. The bottom line: The high-end Sony PlayStation 3’s larger hard drive and ability to play PS2 games makes it a worthwhile alternative to the cheaper model–so long as you’re willing to wait several months for the more promising exclusive titles to hit store shelves. If backward compatibility is your top priority, this hard-to-find model may be worth the search

Customer Review: Hockey game that kicks puck!
Very solid game with tremendous amount of value for money. Many different modes and extras. Season and Franchise gives the game an enormous amount of longevity and you can really work hard on getting your team to the top. On the negatives and after playing it regularly for some months, unlocking certain teams is a bit more challenging that needed. Also, some of the loading sequence gets a bit dull. Menus could have been a bit more animated. Practise challenges, Fighting and injury animation during the matches always ends the same way and some randomizing of graphics would make it a bit more enduring. I miss some of the gore from Sega’s Hockey game but maybe this is because I have not unlocked 60’s and 70’s teams (one of the reasons why I still am playing the game :-))
Customer Review: NHL 2K7
I thought this game would be rubbish as was sold with my console, WHAT A MISTAKE, The game is so much fun on 2 player mode or as a single player. Well worth a look a fab all round game

Clive Barker’s Jericho
Jericho is a squad-based action/horror game based on an original concept and story by acclaimed horror writer and film maker Clive Barker. The most ancient of evils has broken through into our world and is threatening to spread its taint across the whole of the earth unless it’s stopped. At ground zero lies the Middle Eastern city of Al-Khali, a modern city built atop the ancient ruins of a dozen previous conquerors. All attempts of contacting the citizens of the city have failed. With tensions already running high in the region, this is just the sort of thing that could trigger the apocalypse. In Clive Barker’s Jericho, players assume the role of the leader of the Jericho Squad - a seven man Special Forces strike team that protects U.S. interests against paranormal threats. Each member of the squad is an expert in modern warfare as well as their own different para-psychological disciplines, including clairvoyance, alchemy, blood magic, exorcism, etc. Players must lead the Jericho Squad into the flaming ruins of the city, moving block by block towards the dimensional rift tearing away at its heart. Along the way, they encounter the horrific armies of hellish denizens that now rule the city and corrupt everything they touch. As players incrementally approach the source of evil, they will have to rely less and less on traditional weapons and instead focus on the combined psychic talents of the Jericho Squad.

Customer Review: good
the game is good graphics cool, althought a multiplayer mode would have made it better.
Customer Review: Can it be that bad?
Totally unimpressed with this game. One of the worst PS3 games I played. As others have stated you spend more of your time healing your team than you do fighting. Actually you can watch you team during parts of the game and they’ll be shooting off in different directions or facing the wall. Blew chunks is an understatment.

Customer Review: Ready for the future
I think this is the best deal in electronics right now. You get an advanced gaming system, Blu-ray, internet access, and is upgradable, which no other Blu-ray player can do at the moment. Also, there is Ipod Touch and Iphone intergation available shortly. It would have been nice if this system came with a game or movie or remote. But still, you can’t beat this. I know Wii is all the rage right now, but this is ready and poised to be the winner in the long run. I think a year from now, you will be even happier you purchased this.
Customer Review: Best of the best.
I bought this just to play Blu Ray disks because it is the best one out there, and the cheapest and it is upgradable. The others are not! And you can play games!!

Assassin’s Creed (PS3)
The first game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict. Players, assuming the role of the main character Altair, will have the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and to shape events during this pivotal moment in history.

Customer Review: Visually good, Gameplay.. Average…
Thought it helpful to do a fairly short winded review as most here seem to go into great detail & didnt really help me. the gamepl ay is average, at first its engaging and difficult to master, this soon changes to being repetetive & easy. Its bascially boring to do the same 7 missions over and over again but in different towns. Visually its good, and is getting close to how i expected the PS3 to be. its by no means perfect but i dasy the visual effects of the game woudl be the best reason to buy it. But if im honest I think its better to rent the game before you buy, rent it for a week & you could probably complete it anyway..
Customer Review: Not for the fast-paced-blast-the-crap-out-of-everything ADD crowd…
So I’ve just completed the fourth assassination and I am having soooooo much fun with this game. Enough has been written about the visuals, and indeed much has been written about the lack of variety. Well to me this game has more depth in it’s little finger than many others have in the whole game. Repetitive? Halo? Doom? Every FPS ever written? In an era of endless sequels, FPS’s and war games, where the games industry seems stuck in a rut with no creativity or original thought, I give full marks to Ubisoft for trying to do something new. The story, like the overall pace of the game, unfolds slowly. It seems well written and thought out, and the dialogue and voice acting is well done. The scope and attention to detail within the cities blows me away, and I can explore for hours. There are valid criticisms - there is no point to collecting flags or killing Templars, other than for personal satisfaction and the sense of completeness. The combat can be awkward at times, and there could be more variety in the different investigation missions. However I don’t feel these detract too much from what is a very compelling experience. I guess I like games that don’t try to rush me through in a few hours, and for ?50 I appreciate it. I can’t wait to see what AC2 can bring, with more time to focus on the gameplay instead of creating a truly world-class engine.

If you love the Godfather and any other ace gangsta films you will love this game. Take down rival gangs, extort, blackmail, bomb and kill, all the things we can’t get away with in the real world.

Bought this game a few weeks ago and so far i’m really enjoying it. As a fan of the GTA games, i thought this would be right up my street and i was right. It’s basically GTA set in 1950’s New York with a few different ways of doing things but the basic elements are still there. Beating people up is a bit more involved than GTA as you have to use the right analogue stick. You can also use the Sixaxis motion control to slam people up against walls and bash their heads on tables etc. It is pretty violent so not for the weak-hearted! On the downside, unlike GTA you have to get each individual weapon you want to buy from a different backstreet seller. These are dotted all over the city and belive me when i say New York is MASSIVE (in the game, i know its big in real life). This is a cool thing on one hand because it means the game is longer, but if you want a Tommy gun for instance you might hae to drive all the way over the other side of the city to get it which means it can get a little tedious. Also, don’t expect the graphics to be great as its kind of ported from the PS2. Don’t let this put you off however as the game play is still superb. If you’re a big GTA fan and are waiting for GTA4 to come out then i’d get this to tide you over. Great game and loads of fun.

LEGO Batman
The Black Knight is back like you’ve never seen him before! From Traveler’s Tales, the creators of the Lego Star Wars games, comes Lego Batman. Pulling inspiration from the gamut of bat history, this action-packed Batman experiences lets you play as Batman, Robin or more than 12 dastardly villains — all in their super-fun LEGO form!

There’s been a big break-out from Arkham Asylum. Batman must again face against classic bad guys and girls like the Joker and Catwoman. Designed for standard two-player, drop-in/out cooperative play, Lego Batman is broken up into 18 levels, with three different story arcs (that’s six levels per story arc). Lego Batman lets you play in both hero and villain story modes, as well as a free-play mode. The Batcave serves as the natural hub area for Batman while Arkham Asylum is the hub for villains.

Lego Batman lets you build and take control of Lego versions of your favorite vehicles like the Batmobile, Batboat and the Batwing. As you collect various Lego pieces throughout a level, you’ll develop special superhero power suits to give you extra moves. The bad guys come with their own evil perks. For instance, the Joker electrifies enemies and powers machines with his electric buzzer and Harley Quinn soars above other characters with her super-jump.

Customer Review: Worth the price of PS3 itself!
I’m probably not your average “gamer”. I am a married father who owns his own company. PS3 was a christmas purchase for my 10 year old son. Someone told me about Olivion so I bought it for myself. I am ashamed to say that I am now completly addicted. The game is truely amazing; from the amazing graphics to random characters striking up conversations with you on the street. The depth of gameplay and thought that went into this epic is unbelievable! I like that you can just roam around or complete “quests”. I often get sidetracked while on a quest and I like that you can go off in a different direction and then complete the quest later. I just beat Methunes Dagon and thought the game was over but instead I have some suit of armor on order and I can still keep playing.
Customer Review: Horribly Addictive
If you’ve read any of my previous reviews (and I have no idea why you would have) you know that I traded in my 360 to get a PS3 due to the lack of time I was playing games. I bough Oblivion about a year ago for my 360, and just couldn’t get into it. I thought it was “lame”. I was probably just overwhelmed, but I digress. So about a week ago I decided to give it a go on the PS3, I don’t know why, I just did. And I must say, this is the best game I’ve ever played (not counting NHL 94). The world is HUGE, the game is completely interactive, and the depth is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in a game. So, with just over a week of owning the game, I’ve logged about 40 hours of game play. This game makes me want to play games again. My only fear now is that every game I play in the future will be unfairly compared to this masterpiece. Pros: Beautiful graphics Huge, Open-ended game play Hours of game play Cons: Sometimes there are slow loads (if someone knows how to clear the cache on the PS3 like the 360, please inform) Horribly addictive
